Wednesday Pictures

Today I was able to test out my camera on my friend and her fluffy hamster, Peaches! I learned two things today: how important lighting is and that it’s very hard to take pictures of hyper hamsters. Here are some of the results:

I really like how the above picture turned out. It’s so cool how editing can make someone seem like they’re in a movie!!

  1. On the portraits, you need some fill light to brighten the eyes so you can see detail in them. You can also use Camera Raw or an editor to lighten the shadows and bring out the eyes. Or you can dodge the eyes to lighten them, but you have to be careful when using the dodge tool. The photos of the hamster are excellent.
